President's Report
Bill announced that the current Victoria members of the ITCA Board of Governors are resigning to facilitate the transition to a new Board.
The financial situation of the ITCA is still strong but it is felt that renewed emphasis on restructuring of responsibilities and duties of Board members is required along with vigorous promotion of the ITCA.

Treasurer's Report
95 paid up members representing Fleets 1, 4, 5, 9, 15, 24, 25
Publication sales include 12 sets of plans and 9 assorted material orders
Major expense was for Web site ($656.65)
Account balances, USD $7404.32, CAD $212.51

Question regarding Silicon coating on spinnaker cloth given ok

Backup person desirable for Measurer's duties, location not critical (communications largely by email).
Outstanding Issues include:
Ground Tackle definition re location and maximum weight in relation to bare boat weight vs racing weight
Definition of "Main Deck" as regards placing of required additional ballast for mast weight.

Fleet Reports
Tacoma - Gig Harbor Fleet 1 (Dave Killen)
The Fleet is growing with 16 members at present. In addition, 5 boats are being refurbished locally and are prospective new members.
Lack of central focal point for activities is a hindrance but fleet is promoting local racing.
Seattle Fleet 2 - (Dale Dunning)
Notice of Race for Internationals has brought response from Australia, Shediac , Massachusetts, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle hosting the event and providing Race committee
CYC Clubhouse at Shilshole Bay open to competitors during the event
Registration includes moorage and parking at Shilshole
Marina facilities include 2 cranes with gin pole available
Weighing - one month prior notice if required at event
Mast weight - certification required for modifications affecting weight
Number of races - maximum possible with minimum of 5 required. Sunday will be a practice race day, Monday and Tuesday long days, Wednesday and Thursday short days in terms of number of races per day
Loaner boats - get requests in early
Social events in planning stage, Awards banquet July 4th aboard a floating resturant on Lake Union
Accommodation available at University of Washington
Normal safety equipment required with possibility of a requirement for radar reflector
Budget of approximately $17,000 US, target is for 40-50 boats
Seattle Fleet 2 holding a fund raising auction, support from other Fleets welcomed
Victoria Fleet 4 (Kevin More)
Fewer boats active in the racing with a corresponding reduction in attendance at social events. Some current Fleet members have their boats up for sale, but there are 2 new boat owners in fleet, one with an existing fleet boat and one bringing John Booth's first (wooden) Tbird back in Fleet 4 after some refurbishment.

ITCA Archives - Dave Killen
Thunderbird No. 1 has become part of an exhibit stressing the role of Ed Hoppen in developing the design/construction details of the Thunderbird and the history of the Class. The exhibit is being developed by The Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Society, 4218 Harbor Drive, Gig Harbor WA and would be available to the public. ITCA archives could become a part of the exhibit and benefit by having a permanent home and dedicated support. Dave will report on feasibility.
